Identity, Contact Information and Photos

Last name, telephone number, email address, identity-verification information and privately submitted photographs are collected for administration, safety, matching and, where implemented, identity verification. Government-ID information, private contact details and identity-verification data are not intended for public display. Applicant photographs follow the Website's profile rules and applicable consent choices. Where public photo display is permitted, an approved member photograph may be visible to visitors who are not logged in, as well as to registered members. Where a photograph is hidden or unavailable, the directory may display a generic gender-specific illustration instead. A photograph submitted privately for identity or questionnaire review is not, by itself, consent to unrestricted public display.

Providing information or a photograph does not guarantee identity, compatibility, character, marital eligibility, religious practice, or a successful introduction. Members remain responsible for appropriate due diligence and safe communication.

Public Directory, Member Previews and Photo Consent

Approved profiles may appear in the public directory without requiring visitors to sign in. Public previews may include a profile number, applicant type, age, country, education and a limited preferred-partner age range. A permitted public photograph may also appear. Logged-in eligible members may see additional approved profile information, including city, marital status, profession, religious practice, personal introduction and partner preferences. Public visibility is distinct from permission to contact a member or access private records.

Women who choose to hide their profile photograph are shown using a generic illustration instead of their photograph. The Website must honor each member's applicable photo-visibility choice, and publicly displaying a photograph should be based on clear, informed consent. Members should understand that anyone who can view a public photograph may be able to copy, screenshot, share or otherwise retain it. Removing a photograph later cannot guarantee removal of copies previously made by third parties.

Directory Access and Recommendations

The member directory is designed to show opposite-gender marriage candidates to ordinary signed-in members, based on available account and questionnaire information. Authorized administrators may view approved profiles of both genders for administration, support and moderation. Suggested partners and filters are conveniences only and do not guarantee eligibility, compatibility or any marriage outcome. Information supplied by members may be incomplete, inaccurate or outdated.

Search Engines, Crawlers and Public Information

The Website may use robots directives, noindex response headers, reduced-size photo previews, rate limiting and automated-traffic protections to discourage indexing and automated collection of profile information. These measures cannot guarantee that public profile information or images will never be crawled, downloaded, copied, indexed by third parties or retained elsewhere. Members should not regard publicly visible information as confidential.

Fictional Test Profiles

The Website may display clearly labeled fictional test profiles for development or demonstration. Such accounts are not real marriage candidates and must not be represented as having completed genuine third-party identity verification solely because a test workflow was simulated. Test accounts should not be used to solicit real introductions.

Identity Verification Is Not a Background Check

Government-ID, selfie and available identity attributes may be verified through Stripe Identity, and profile-photo comparison may use Amazon Rekognition CompareFaces. Successful verification or a face-comparison result is a security measure, not a background check. It does not establish character, marital status, criminal history, finances, employment, religious practice, compatibility, intentions, or suitability for marriage. Stripe may not return every identity attribute for every valid verification; when an attribute such as sex/gender or date of birth is unavailable, the service may permit the member to provide the missing information. Users remain responsible for appropriate due diligence.

Legal Name Corrections and Reverification

Members must provide their accurate legal first and last names for identity verification. Correcting a legal name after verification may suspend identity-verified status and pause identity-dependent features until a new successful verification. Existing profile and introduction records are preserved where appropriate, but members cannot rely on an earlier verification for a changed legal name. A warning should be displayed before a change that triggers reverification.

IP-Based Country Estimates

The service may estimate visitor or registered-member countries using locally stored IP-to-country reference data. IP geolocation is approximate and may be affected by VPNs, proxies and network routing. It does not independently establish residence, citizenship or nationality.

Direct Express Interest and Private Introductions

Eligible Express Interest requests are delivered directly to the intended member for acceptance or decline; routine administrator approval is not required. After mutual interest, members may communicate in a private Amanah Introduction Room. Important actions may be recorded in an administrative audit log. Messages are stored and may be accessed by authorized administrators when reasonably necessary for safety, moderation, reports, disputes, security or legal purposes. The general activity log records events and limited metadata and is not intended to duplicate private message content. Amanah does not automatically disclose registered contact information. Contact information typed by a member into a conversation is voluntarily disclosed to the other participant.

Account Closure and Marriage Announcements

Members may close and archive their accounts. A success or marriage announcement is based on information voluntarily reported by the closing member and is not an independent certification by Amanah Marriage that a legal marriage occurred. First names are published only through the consent mechanism provided for this purpose. Members must have permission to submit another person's name for public display.

MFA and Account Recovery

Multi-factor authentication is a security feature and does not guarantee that an account can never be compromised. Starting a lost-authenticator recovery request does not invalidate the existing MFA credential. Amanah Marriage may require registered-email verification, fresh identity verification and administrator approval before authorizing an MFA reset. The old MFA credential is invalidated only after an approved reset.

Private introduction moderation

Private introduction messages are not intended for routine administrator browsing. Authorized administrators may obtain limited, time-bound access when reasonably necessary for reported content, safety, harassment, fraud, impersonation, disputes, security incidents, legal requirements, or another documented legitimate purpose. Administrative access requires authentication controls, a recorded reason and scope, and is audit logged. Where a reported message can be investigated with limited context, access should be limited to that context rather than the entire conversation.

Founding Member Offer

Eligible newly approved members may receive a complimentary 30-day membership during an active, administrator-configured promotional period. Approval is not guaranteed. The complimentary period does not guarantee matches, introductions, responses, or marriage. Continued use of membership features after the complimentary period may require a paid subscription at the then-disclosed price.
